Yesterday, my son took the examination of training courses in maths, Chinese, and English. It marked the end of his intense training during the summer vacation. It is worth praising that my son has got through these days and stuck to it.
Just at the end of his training, I and his mother have figured out a plan to develop his spare time interest, that is to learn how to play Chinese bamboo flute. Two days ago, for this plan, I contacted an art training center and made an appointment with them. That afternoon about 7:00 pm, I and my son went to the center. There a teacher who is only twenty more gave my son an interview and taught his the fundamental skills. It is awalys the case that you should meet the teacher and then they can decide and assess whether the trainee can be suitable for playing or learning something.
At the beginning of the interview, the teacher asked my son: “ do you like to play Chinese bamboo flute?” my son replyed, “ I want to learn it because I felt embarrassed before in the class when there was a requirement that every student should give a show. If I have learnt to play it, then I can show off myself before my classmates”
In fact, I am very interested in playing Chinese bamboo flute and have got a certain level in amateur sense. Nonetheless, my interest has been wholly stemmed from my self learning, and I had never resorted to a professional teacher. Thus I consider it is appropriate that my son should be at a good start point when he begins to learn this instrument.
Tomorrow, it will be the first lesson for my son in learning bamboo flute, and it is the requirement I should accopany my son all the way during the course according to the arrangement of the teacher. It will last almost one hour every class.
