It was very early of the Mid-autumn festival this year. It has just opened the new term only two weeks. After the busy work in students affairs, the three days holiday really gave me a full rest. So joyful and restful. In my memory, usually, the mid-autumn festival came at least after the National day holiday
Now that it was the festival, my son longed for it very early even when in his summer holiday. Because he could go to his grandpa’ home for a palyful day. It was the first there was one day holiday for Chinese tradtional mid-autumn festival. Comparing with before, we usually enjoyed this festival in a busy fashion, for it was very rare that this festival came on weekend.
In my opinion, the decision to divide the public holiday in Labor day into three holidays for Chinese traditional festivals is superior than former two long holidays. It was evidenced by the happiness and the contents flowing over on people’s face.
This morning my son and I went to the cinema to watch a four-dimensional film. This type of film was promoted by his school. The cinema always gave the tickets to the primary school to attract the eyes of the pupils. Really, when my son came home in the afternoon on friday, he showed his promotional sheet to me with passion and hunger. After seeing the film, I felt being deceived, for there was not any plot in the film, just full of dimensional techniques. However my son was attracted by these facial effects. For the children, the animated scene may give them a real experience.
In the afternoon, I and my wife went to my father’s home to enjoy the reunion supper. As for my son, he was picked up by his grandpa in advance and played with his cousin already for half a day.
