Recently, I have not updated my blog as frequently as before. Maybe it was because of my busy work and famliy life, partly because of my focus having been diverted to other interests. Once I told you in an article that I planned to develop my son’s interests. That is to give him a chance to learn how to play bamboo flute. Now the time has passed for one month. Under the teaching of a flute tutor and my direction when he exercises at home, my son has made some progress. His progress has outpaced my original imagination. Of course, to play a music instrument fluently is not an easy thing, he should pay more attention to it and practise more, so that his basic technique could be improved. As a child, he lacks initiave, most of the time, his exercise was under my urge and requirement.This is the case that private music education is more expensive than other training courses such as math, English, Chinese.
Everytime, I should accompany him for an hour during his one-to-one course. In order that I could teach him at home, I also focus my attention to the teacher’s instruction.
I am also the lover of playing Chinese bamboo flute, however I had never resorted to a teacher, my interest on it was fully developed by self-learning. Thus, my playing technique is just so so. Taking advantage of my son’s course, I also improve my teachnique a little. Some of my current spare time therefore is occupied by practising bamboo flute. Further more, I should teach my son’s English and sometimes check his homework, and I also should spend one hour to accompany my son to play bamboo flute after he finishes the homework. So the time left for me to write my blog or visit my blog friend was scanted considerably.
