It is really a big problem worth thinking over for our parents. I have been instilled by the teachers who are teaching my son when I attended the parents meeting. According to their experience, generally saying, there are following methods for our parents to consider carefully.
Firstly, cultivating a good habit for the children either in studying or daily life. Doing homework in time after returning home; consciously finishing their homework without accompanying of their parents; going to bed on time.
Secondly, giving them more confidence and praise instead of criticizing. Children’s soul is prone to fragile, so criticizing might hurt their crisp self-dignity. A little improvement might be worth your praise. You should try to reproach them in an implicit way.
Thirdly, trying to communicate with them frequently. Mothers or fathers in fact are the only ones to whom the children could confide their aggrievance or happiness. Managing to talk more with them and as their soul teacher. The influence of the behavior of their parents might engrave the deep trace in their young heart.
There are so many points for us to discuss and write. However I am not the professional educator particularlly weak in children’s eduction. Most of the time, our parents play the role according to our intuition.sometimes we have relaxed our vigilance due to our tired daily work. Sometimes we might find more reasons to forgive ourself negligence and contribute the good or bad performance to the duty of the teachers.
It is true that our parents have shared more responsibilty in aspect of education. In my memory, when I was a child, I had a carefree childhood without so much homework. Of course the current society has changed greatly due to the rat race. We parents should equip our mind with providence to face the fierce competition in the future for our children.
