On Sept 18, Friday afternoon, a grand ceremony was held in Wuhan Conservatory of Music to commemorate the 60th anniversary of founding of China, and its CPPCC, as well as the confirmation for establishing the democratic corporation systems of multiple parties. This collective meaning triggered the ceremony which was held collaboratively by Hubei provincial committee and Wuhan municipal committee of China Association for Promoting Democracy (CAPD).

After we signed in the signature sheet and obtained a program booklet as well as a bottle of mineral water, we entered the music hall. In fact we were almost half an hour ahead of the stated time.
According to the booklet, the ceremony was divided into two parts. The first was the addresses made by the heads of the committee, then followed by the program which was the main content of the activity. The entire procedure was supposed to last two hours and an half.
Of course, the speeches made by the head were imbued with political points, concerning the achievements made by committee and tasks and challenges faced in the future. I am a politically disinterested. I almost fell into sleep during the speech for I get used to taking a nap during the noon. Usually I might feel listless if without rest during the noon.
After the address session, the presider announced the start of the program, which consisted of 13 series including the chorus, solo, dancing and instrument playing. The program hit the climax by the percussion music show which was acrobated by a teacher and his three students who are all in the Wuhan Conservatory of Music. The program then culminated in the performance of group dancing featured in lush ethnic spice. To great extent, this program was state-of-the art that was attended by some actors up to national first level
It is true that the recent activities may be seen everywhere when the 60th anniversary draws near. It is no doubt the highlight of the year of 2009.
