It is very probable that you may encounter the dilemma of how to deal with the relationship between study and hobby. As a student, study is the first task to be finished. However, there are also many activities waiting for you to join in. There are kinds of associations in the campus being attractive for the students. Through participating in acitivities, a student can do well in hobby while he/she can also attain the better perfomance in study.

Of course, hobby may take up you some time in study. However, win-win situation can take place if you arrange your time appropriately. I always remember there was someone who ever said you could get there if you did something you wanted. You could also be here if you didn't do something. But the differences were evident. You could get or learn a lot from doing something. This point reiterates the fact that you should try to do more what you can do. You may sense the hardship but you can also relish the happiness of attainment when you have finished.

A lot of students do like this. To some extent, habby can serve as a kind of complement for the study. Take bamboo flute as an example. bamboo flute association is usually the biggest one in the college. There are a large number of  students loving to play the bamboo flute. Everyday they practice it at the designated site, sometimes after they are off from self study in the evening; sometimes they practice on the weekend, and half a day is enough. One year more of practice, they can play melodiously. Some of them even can reach a higher level if there is a teacher who can guide them properly.

Study does essentially not collide with hobby if you are self-controlled, and self-regulated. Spending too much time on hobby is also inappropriate. Being addictive to hobby is prohibited.

All in all, the hobbies that I mean are those good ones. Playing computer games is the most undesirable that I am against strongly. There are lively cases that the students who have been indulgent in play computer games result in very bad academic records.
